Train With Us

Applications are open to young people who are aged between 18 & 25 as of the first day of the course. In 2020, the course will commence in mid September. Applications are accepted from 1st February for 2020 entry and only those who clearly demonstrate a passion to pursue a professional career in the industry will be invited to audition.
Our first round and recall auditions take place in July each year and take the following form:
  • The first strand of the audition process allows prospective students to participate in a practical workshop session covering a number of disciplines which will allow the panel to observe skills levels and the ability to work in an ensemble context.
  • The second strand of the audition process gives candidates the opportunity to deliver two pre-prepared, contrasting monologues; one contemporary and one classical followed by an informal interview. This will be delivered in front of the panel, consisting of the Head of Course, Artistic Director, Associates and Patrons of the course.

Selection Process
Following audition, successful candidates will be informed of our decision within 2 weeks of audition. Some candidates may be invited to a recall audition which will also take place in July. In some cases, we may host a second round of applications and auditions which will take place in early August.
Fees and Charges
As affordability and accessibility is at the heart of Project A, all places are heavily subsidised by our generous benefactors and board. As such, from July 2019 places on the course cost just £1665 for the whole year. However, we appreciate that for some students this is still unattainable and so we offer 2 full bursary places each year.

Please note, there is no fee to register an application. Applicants must be aged between 18 & 25 on the first day of  the course and be a full time resident of the UK. Referees will be contacted prior to audition.
